It is a set of emulators, control and integration utilities and preverifiers for J2ME and Series 60 development.
Mobility Toolkit is supported by and easily plugs in to the leading IDE for Java (such as Borland JBuilder or Sun Microsystems Sun One Studio)

This release is based on the Motorola SDK v5.2.1 for J2ME™. It is a KVM-based implementation that supports MIDP/CLDC. Additionally the Licensee Open Class “Lightweight Windowing Toolkit” or LWT is supported in this release.

There are actually two emulators in this release of software. Each is designed to support a specific group of Motorola handsets.

You can use the Launchpad.exe application to simplify the execution of your MIDlets. Simply select the target handset and language, and enter the JAD file, and click launch button. There are many other options that are described in Motorola J2ME™ SDK User’s Guide.

The following phones are supported in each emulator:

Emulator M.1: A728, A760/A760i, A768/A768i.

Emulator M.3: A780, E680/E680i.
