After successful start of the first phone featuring “Plug & Play Files-to-go” (SGH-i300 ) at March 11th, 2005, Samsung Electronics announced first 8 GB HDD embedded music phone. New Samsung SGH-i310 model is successor of the SGH-i300.
Plug & Play Files-to-go” technology allows the handset to be used as a removable hard disk drive, that means an opportunity to store and transfer files in any format .

Samsung SGH-i310 For the device used as a disk-on-key, the important detail will be support of USB 2.0, but in difference from the many of Korean phones in this model also featured with Bluetooth with A2DP profile for stereo headset.

This new tri-band GSM smartphone will run on Windows Mobile 5.0. In addition to 8 GB hard disk, Samsung SGH-i310 will have the microSD (TransFlash) card slot.
